Film & TV Language: Cinematography blog tasks

1) Write an analysis of the cinematography in the opening sequence.  Highlight your use of media language and try to cover camera shots, angles and movement using the terminology we have learned in lessons. There were multiple slow moving/still shots that were designed to help create tension in the beginning of the video, After kyle enters the room I used a multitude of moving shots (with a large variety of medium and close up shots) to completely throw off the viewers (and to add comedic effect). In the very beginning an establishing and long shot were used in order to show the viewers where they are. 2) How does the camerawork give the audience clues about the setting, narrative and character? I tried to imitate the camerawork of famous animes (some of which include boku no hero and attack on titan) I believe that this gives off an upbeat atmosphere to the video. The shots also help clearly show that there is tension between the two main characters. 3)  Find and analyse
